This week we were lucky enough to snag an interview with one of our FAVORITE Internet personalities, Danny Pellegrino. We’ve been huge fans of him for years and we are thrilled to get his hot takes on all things Bravo!

FMK: Vanderpump men edition-- Jax Taylor, Tom Sandoval, James Kennedy?

FMK— How dare you? I will instead take this opportunity to shoutout Brock’s beautiful thighs. 

We were obsessed with The Traitors--- If housewives could infiltrate any other reality game show series, which do you think it would be?

I would love to see an all-Housewives edition of MTV’s The Challenge or Celebrity Mole. Traitors is a flawless show, but it would be fun to watch Housewives on a competitive show where they ALSO have to live together. I’d lean more toward earlier versions of MTV’s The Challenge, which spotlighted the interpersonal dynamics slightly more than the competitions. I mostly just want the contestants to live together and be taped throughout filming (instead of going to hotels at night like they do on Traitors). 

Which housewives or bravolebs would you like to see on the next season of The Traitors?

They need to cast someone from Vanderpump Rules. WWHL likes to pair Scheana with news anchors, and I think making her a “traitor” alongside someone like Wolf Blitzer or Rachel Maddow would be really funny. I’d also add Alexia from RHOM, Monica from RHOSLC, Kim Richards, Dr. Simone from Married to Medicine, and a wildcard like Jackie Warner from Bravo’s Work Out (#Justice4Workout) to be faithfuls. 

What do you think of Winter House going on pause-- Do you think there is a way to revive it?

I think it’s best for Winter House to be on pause. Sometimes these spinoffs dilute the main brand, and I never felt like Summer House was such a well-oiled machine that it needed a spinoff. It got overwhelming trying to follow these people on different shows, and ultimately Winter House just felt bleak to me. I also realize this is a me-problem, but I found it troubling to watch people my age or older binge drink for 2 or 3 weeks straight (or however long they film Winter House for). 

Who is your all time favorite housewife GOAT & why? 

My all time favorite Housewife changes every 5 minutes, but currently it’s Karen Huger. I feel like she’s doing her best over on Potomac with a cast who doesn’t seem to want to film with each other. Countess Luann has also had one of the all-time greatest character arcs in the history of television, and Nene’s contributions to the reality TV arts will live on forever. Finally, I think Adriana from The Real Housewives of Miami is underrated and one of the hardest working people on Bravo, despite only being a “Friend Of” (while we’re here, Kiki and Marysol also deserve to be main cast members). 

What else are you watching (not on Bravo) or reading right now?

Outside of Bravo, I’m currently watching One Day on Netflix, which is sappy, but I’m enjoying it so far. Also love Abbott Elementary, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Sunday night animation (Bob’s Burgers and The Simpsons in particular). 

I’m currently reading a Jim Henson biography by Brian Jay Jones, and have Kate Kennedy’s new book waiting for me (it’s called Once Upon a Millennial). 

Any projects you want to plug?

My podcast is called Everything Iconic, and I have two books (How Do I Un-Remember This? & The Jolliest Bunch) that are available in print or audiobook! Please read them! I’m currently working with some wonderful producers to turn How Do I Un-Remember This into an animated show, and I have a few other scripted projects I’m hoping will get green-lit soon!

@BravoBetch Of The Week: This will come as a surprise to NOBODY, but we are obviously OBSESSED with West on Summer house. He brings such a fun vibe and was quickly a fan favorite.

Scene Of The Week: IYKYK. The last few minutes of the valley were INTENSE. It’s giving dinner party from hell on steroids. Jesse is making Jax look good and that’s all I’m going to say on that.
